HAITIAN COURAGE

A tweet from Max Lucado today said that he was bemoaning and groaning about a busy Monday until he remembered Haiti's struggles and he shut his mouth. Haiti is an overwhelming backdrop that causes everything else to pale.

Out of the upheaval, those brave souls raised their hands to heaven. We look on and our questions turn our thoughts to heaven.

It's heartbreaking although we pray for mercy and help to send help. God, bless the children. Our grandchildren just went home and I thought I was tired. How tiring would it be to find three meals a day and safe shelter in the midst of chaos?

The LA Times has been a great source for photos; their photographers are sending in poignant glimpses of the story daily. As in the last blog, credit for these pictures goes to the LA Times.
